SCOTT BROWN
SCOTT BROWNCompany Owner

Scott’s passion for remodeling started 48 years ago when he worked with his father in his remodeling business during the summer when he was out of school. Now, he takes pride in owning and managing a successful residential remodeling company.

He strives to stay current with the latest materials and techniques for proper code-compliant construction. Annually, Scott attends the International Builders Show to continue his education and learn about the most recent products.

For Scott, his success is due to viewing every project and client as unique and working with them with cutting-edge management software to ensure an excellent remodel.

When asked why the construction industry? Scott stated, I had been drawn to this profession from a young age and then grew to discover how passionate I have become about it. What I love about my job is delivering and exceeding clients’ expectations. I love to be involved in client’s projects and work according to their specifications. I care about client satisfaction as much as I care about the project.

For Scott, it’s about a healthy balance between work and life, which he thinks is essential to cultivate. Scott enjoys having family and friends around, spending quality time, and positively impacting people he meets anywhere. He also enjoys working with plants and working in the yard.

ANN BENHAM
ANN BENHAMAccount Manager

Ann is a graduate of Prudence University with a B.S. in financial Advising. She is the key account manager for the business. Ann started working at S. Brown in 2009. She handles payrolls, accounts payables, and receivables. Her most challenging job is to keep all the guys in line.

I enjoy watching/hearing clients talk about their visions of how they want to make their home their dream home and then seeing it happen. I always love connecting with my team members to serve clients. Heading home knowing that someone is satisfied is an accomplishment I don’t take for granted.

When Ann is not working, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, horses, dogs, and husband, Scot, in that order. She loves the outdoors, gardening, and taking care of flowers.

ALEX OSORIO
ALEX OSORIOProject Manager

Alex started as a construction business star as a handyman, painting, and plumbing, developing skills as an electrician at the Early Edge with plumbing skills. Alex is always ready for challenging new jobs and remodeling in all the areas related to construction and rehabs, ensuring the highest quality for clients and a 100% happy customer guarantee.

He has skills developed in this field, which include Fine carpentry, Kitchen remodels, Bathroom remodels, Drywall hang and finish, Framing windows and door installation, New floor painting, interior and exterior, and Tile installation.

I am always learning about new products. I Enjoy working with co-workers and clients. He loves the feeling of helping people build their dream homes. The opportunity to give clients the life they deserve is a great responsibility I enjoy, said Alex.

Every project is unique, and each one brings out the creative part of me. I love to take on new challenges as I work with my team and clients to deliver an outstanding project.

He enjoys training, boxing when he has the time, and watching boxing. He also enjoys reading and watching movies. Alex enjoys time off with quality time.

ELLA BRUNNER
ELLA BRUNNER Interior Designer

Ella is an outstanding interior designer with a passion for bringing creativity into reality. As a Ball State Alumni, Ella earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. She is proficient in improving the look, usage, and safety of interior spaces. When it comes to everything that concerns the use of space, lighting, furniture, color schemes, and finishes, she goes above and beyond to meet client’s requirements and ideas.

I enjoy guiding clients through the design process and find that turning my clients dreams into a reality is very rewarding. With her previous skill as an architectural designer, Ella enjoys the challenge it takes to create tangible results through experimentation and creativity. Ella is passionate about bringing her creative visions to life while transforming a space into something inspiring to others.

Beyond being an interior designer, Ella enjoys architectural photography and creating beautiful memories with her camera. She also loves getting to spend time in the sunshine out on the lake with family.

GABE OVERMYER
GABE OVERMYERProject Manager

Gabe started working for S. Brown Construction Co. in the summer of 2022. That summer, he learned the fundamentals of home building from the ground up. He quickly fell in love with the profession due to the job’s teamwork, creativity, and customer service aspect.

Gabe is a recent graduate of construction management at Purdue University. Gabe was recently promoted from the field to a project management role, where he schedules, estimates, and runs jobs.

Gabe’s favorite thing about working with S. Brown is helping clients realize their dream homes. I love understanding the “why” behind things. When a customer can explain why they want a project done then he can help them produce a home that everyone is proud of.

A couple of Gabe’s hobbies include the holy trinity of society, food, art, and conversation.

Our owner, Scott, grew up working with his brothers, renovating homes for his dad’s construction company. The experience and knowledge Scott gained early on created a strong foundation for his own company, which he established in November 1999.

Life’s needs change, and sometimes your home must adapt as well. We understand this because we’ve been there. Whether you’re adding a nursery for a baby, an in-law suite for an aging parent, updates to your home, or are wanting to start from scratch with a custom new construction home we can guide your family through the process.
